Why do you think you are qualified to run for this office? I had served in
the Wyoming Legislative Intern/Aid program prior to being elected. The four years in the
program gave me the knowledge of our legislative process.

What are your priorities, if elected? Invest more of our surplus dollars
towards the infrastructure needs of Wyoming. We need to provide our citizens with
a healthcare system that will give them access and affordable services. Our workman's
compensation system is also in need of some additional updates and extension of
services.
What motivated you to run for this position? While I was interning in the
Wyoming legislature, it became very obvious to me that the working class people of the state
of Wyoming were not adequately represented in the legislature. Even as of today,
I am the only Representative on the nine member Labor Committee that has an extensive
labor background.
What issues related to the office you're seeking do you think are of biggest concern
to voters? Rising property taxes, rising gas prices, rising utility rates
and how are we going to take of our aging population.
What other information would you like voters to know about you? There were
15 newly elected Representatives in the 2006 election. Of those 15 Freshman Legislators,
I had the most bills as primary sponsor signed into law by Governor Freudenthal,
and was the only Freshman to have bills as primary sponsor pass in both the general
and budget sessions.
